How to make a payment proof?

Sooner or later you will get your payment from one or more money maker sites where you’re registered. Once you got your money you ought to post a payment proof. Some PTC sites actually require to post a proof of your current payment in order to issue your next payment. Post a payment proof on the forum of the site you got the money from, and feel free to post in as many independent money maker forums as you want. Of course, you have to read the forum rules before posting, and do not spam. Set your forums signature to point to your favorite site (where it is allowed), find the appropriate thread, and post your payment proof. People are interested in paying sites, a post like this will bring visitors to your site.

A snapshot can be taken in many different ways. One of these is ready at hand for every Windows users and for this very reason I’m going to describe this method here. I’m not worried about Linux users, as they know the nuts and bolts about their beloved OS and the installed apps. (Btw, I love Linux, too. :) )
PC keyboardTo make a screen shot simply press the Print Screen button on your keyboard (click on the thumbnail to enlarge). The image of the currently displayed page is now stored in the Clip Board.
Now open the application called Paint, then press Ctrl + V. The content of your Clip Board is loaded into the Paint’s work area. As you made a screen shot of the entire page, you need to crop it now. Go to the Paint’s toolbar, and click “Select”. Note there’s a down arrow sign, by clicking it further options become available. Click Rectangular Selection, and then drag the pointer to select the part of the picture you want to keep. Next press Ctrl + C in order to copy the selected area to your Clip Board. In Paint choose to make a New file and paste your image there by pressing Ctrl + V. Now all you need to do is to hide your personal information and the transaction ID. You can use the Eraser tool to erase the sensitive data or use the Pencil, Brush or Shape tool to cover them. Check my Payment Proofs article to see how a payment proof should look like.
When editing in Paint is done, save the file to your hard drive, then upload it to an Image Hoster, like imageshack or any other. You don’t even need to signup there to be able to upload your images, but if you are a registered member your uploaded images are stored in your account where you can manage them. After the image is uploaded you’ll get different types of links to your image. Copy the one you need, mostly it’ll be the Direct link, and paste it into the forum of the site that sent you the money. Find the thread with title “Payment Proofs” or Proofs of Payments” start a new topic, and post your proof. On the other money maker forums you must find the appropriate thread which is related to the site you received your money, or there are threads called “I have been paid, Payment Proofs, Praises and Applause” or something similar where everybody can post any positive experience about money maker sites including payment proofs.

Note: There are several other methods to make screen shots. There are plenty of free applications, just make a Google search with the query “free image capture tool”, and you can download and install them. It might be easier to work with them than the method described above.
In Windows7 there’s a tool called Snipping tool that is simple and works fine. In Linux Mint or Ubuntu there’s an Image Capture tool that comes along with the OS.
